With all the multiple times you wear our caps, we recommend giving a nice wash whenever you see nasty stains or smells. Here are a few quick steps to mantain your caps as good as new:

• Give it nice soak in lukewarm / room temperature water for about 5 minutes.
• Target only the nasty spots - usually the sweat band, the front and underside of the brim and the crown area. 
• Take a small amount of non-bleach detergent / shampoo along with a soft bristled tooth-brush to gently scrub the affected areas.
• Give it a nice soak and rinse in clean lukewarm / room temperature water
• Hang it to dry in the air with a loosely balled up towel inside the cap to mantain the shape.

Things to be careful while cleaning:

• If your cap has embroidery, do not scrub on it hard or you may damage the thread work.
• Do not be rough with the cap. Bending or scrubbing hard may result in the cap loosing its shape.
• Take care of the drying process. Air-dry is the only safe way to dry your cap without smells while retaining shape.
• Do not use bleach based detergents as it may result in staining or loss of color.
• Do not use hot / boiling water.
• Do not wring the cap to dry.
• We do not recommend machine washing. If you must, use a protective wash case before tossing it in. 
• Do not iron on any elements of the cap.
